Sec. Villanueva, ex-PBA players to join basketball exhibition game of TESDA-7 in Cebu on June 26

CEBU CITY, June 18 (PIA) – Secretary Joel Villanueva of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) will join the basketball exhibition game initiated by its regional office on Thursday, next week June 26 at 5:00 p.m. at the Cebu Coliseum, this city.  


TESDA-7 is undertaking the basketball game entitled “Shoot for your Dream Cebu” as part of the agency’s social marketing and advocacy campaign for its various programs and services.

Ex-players of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) will join Sec. Villanueva in the game. They are Alvin Patrimonio, Kenneth Duremdes, Bal David, Jerry Codinera, Bobby Jose, Rodney Santos and Marlou Aquino.

Villanueva’s team will go up against the TESDA 7 Specialista graduates who will also be joined by Cebu Congressmen SamsamGullas and Bebot Abellanosa, businessman Glenn Soco and some Cebuano ex-PBA players.

The basketball exhibition game is free as the public is invited to watch this exciting friendly match.
