CEBU CITY, Aug. 19 (PIA) --- The Home Development Mutual Fund or known as Pag-IBIG Fund encourages its members to apply for Loyalty Card to avail of the discounted rates offered from their various partner establishments.
Pag-IBIG-North frontline services head, Dale Mark Antonio said that Pag-IBIG Fund also wants to show its loyalty and commitment to its members that is why it came up with this program.
In the recent AGIO7 Forum at the PIA7 Regional Office here, Antonio added if you have this loyalty card, all you have to do is present this to accredited firms. Members get discounts depending on what services you want to avail and the product you want to buy.
To date, there are 34 establishments that already partnered with Pag-BIG Fund that included the University of Visayas, STI, Trans-Asia Shipping Lines, 2Go, Hi-Precision, selected areas of Petron, Petron Gazul, Pfizer, the Generics Pharmacy and many others, said Antonio.
Cebu, Davao and Baguio are the pilot areas of the program with a target of 200,000 cards to be issued.
Pag-IBIG-Cebu South member services department, Van Pepito said for Cebu South alone there are already 42,293 cards issued with a target of 70,000 while Cebu North issued 56,220 with a target of 60,000. As of August 16, Pag-IBIG-Cebu had already issued 98, 513 cards, Pepito said.
Pepito added Pag-IBIG hopes to reach its targets before Phase I will end by September 30, 2014.
Pag-IBIG Cebu Ayala Branch is open every Saturdays until September 30 from 8am to 5pm to cater to applicants who want to avail of the Loyalty Card.
Pepito said Pag-IBIG personnel will go to offices if a minimum of 80 applicants who will avail of the Loyalty Card. For offices with 40-70 applicants, they could arrange a schedule with Pag-IBIG depending on the availability of the kiosk.
As of now, Cebu South has 10 available kiosks while Cebu North has 14 kiosks, Pepito added.
Meanwhile, Pag-IBIG is still negotiating for more business partners and establishments to offer discounts to be included in the Loyalty card purchases of products and services.
As a provident fund, Pag-Ibig advocates savings and the loyalty card is one way that active members can save. Loyalty card is one way of reducing expenses and savings for our future needs, Antonio concluded. (mbcn/hfg/PIA-7)
