DTI warns public from buying uncertified motorcycle helmets

CEBU CITY, March 4 (PIA) -- The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has intensified its monitoring activities on manufacturers, importers, retailers, and establishments distributing and selling motorcycle helmets.

This is to ensure that only certified protective motorcycle helmets with the Philippine Standard (PS) or Import Commodity Clearance (ICC) mark will be sold in the market. (rmn/JSME-PIA 7, Cebu/DTI)
