CEBU CITY, April 20 (PIA) -- President Benigno Simeon Aquino III
led the groundbreaking and the lowering of the time capsule for the widening of
the Mactan Cebu Circumferential Road at barangay Ibo, Lapulapu City on April
19, in time for his visit and political events in Cebu. 
The Mactan Island Circumferential Road is an existing paved road of 26.334 kilometers and needs to be expanded/widened to cope with the growing needs of more spaces and easy access to the airport. (mbcn/AYS/PIA7)
