BY: HAZEL F. GLORIA

CEBU CITY, March 27 (PIA) --- The Civil Service Commission (CSC-7) announced that out of the 18 examinees that took the exams via the Computerized Examination (ComEx) that was first conducted on January 17, 2014 only two passed the professional career examination.

They are Oscar Florida Clita, Jr, a Job Order employee of the Department of Education (DedEd) and Jenalyn Ugay, a permanent employee of the Office of the Ombudsman-Visayas.

A career service eligibility is a requirement for those who want to enter in the government service on a permanent status.

ComEx had replaced the modified walk-in examination (MOWE) with the scheme that the small batches of examinees are assembled on particular dates to take the Career Service Examinations but it was stopped in 2004.

Recently, CSC re-introduced the modified system for efficient delivery of services in administering the professional and sub-professional career examinations and among others.

Another schedule of the Computerized Examination was on March 20, 2014 with 20 examinees. Results are yet to be released.

For  interested applicants they can register via the CSC-COMEX website: comex.csc.gov.ph. (mbcn/HFG/PIA-7/CSC)
