Since the assumption of President Rodrigo Duterte and the
appointment of new Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Ronald dela Rosa,
“Oplan Tukhang” was implemented nationwide.
This involves the police going to the homes of suspected
drug personalities and asking them to stop all their drug-related activities.
Under the plan, they are given time to pack up and stop their
illegal trade, or have the option to leave the city and go somewhere else.
