CEBU, May 1 (PIA) --- In what will be his fifth visit to Bohol following the 7.2-magnitude quake that rocked the island-province in October last year, Pres. Benigno S. Aquino III will inspect a new fabrication laboratory in Tagbilaran City tomorrow (May 2).
Pres. Aquino is expected to take a tour at the fabrication facility at Bohol Island State University (BISU) main campus.
He will be accompanied by Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Sec. Gregory L. Domingo.
After the tour, the president is set to deliver a message during the launching and turnover ceremony of the Bohol Fabrication Laboratory.
The fabrication laboratory or FabLab is under DTI’s Shared Service Facilities (SSF) program, a strategic complementary project aimed at improving micro-small medium enterprises (MSME’s) access to better technology and more sophisticated equipment.
The FabLab will boost innovation in Bohol’s creative industry, allowing manufacturers to create computer-based design prototypes, scale models, illustrate graphic designs, among others. (RMN/PIA Cebu)
