CEBU CITY, Sept. 23 (PIA) -- The
Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) officials in Region 7 led by Regional
Director Alejandro Otacan recently turned over the Common Services
facilities (CFS) to DAR Provincial Office in Cebu led by Dr. Antonio
A. del Socorro, Assistant Regional Director and concurrent Provincial Agrarian
Reform Officer II (PARPO II) to the agrarian beneficiaries.
The facilities are composed of
eight units of Hand Tractor, each worth of P181,636 and
five units of ten HP Floating Tiller worth P77,251 each.
Dr. del Socorro signed the
acceptance of the farm facilities worth of P1,839,344 for the hand tractors
with accessories and P386,246 worth of floating tillers.
These CSFs provided under the
Agrarian Reform Community Connectivity and Economic Support Services (ARCCESS)
Project of the DAR will benefit the farmers from identified Agrarian Reform
Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs) in Cebu.
Other officials who witnessed the
CSF turnover ceremony were Andrea Paciana S. Labra, Regional Chief for
